MDS—Mennonite Disaster Service

Mountain View Mennonite Church has an active MDS group which works on projects locally and around the US and Canada. The group meets monthly on the first Monday at Perkins Restaurant in Kalispell at 6 p.m. Once a year, usually in the spring, a group of 4-5 people travels to an MDS project somewhere in the US or Canada to lend a hand. All skill levels are welcome. Past MDS trips have included projects in California, New Orleans, and Detroit. The 2019 trip is planned to Wharton, Texas, from March 24-30.
